This is a frame repair where there was a divot near the head tube, and a tube intrusion on the chainstay. The chainstay hole was around the size of a dime. We have filled and patched the holes, here is pictures of the layup on the chainstay to strengthen after the damage:
Pictures are post vacuum bag, but with squeegee wrap still in place until full cure.
This frame was a new challenge, setting up for very large frame sizes can be difficult.

Here is the beginning of a frame we just bought for carbon repair. It had a pretty hard handlebar smash to the top tube. It cracked nearly 3/4ths of the way around the top tube. No other damage other than this. (continue reading…)
